Eichelberger receives President’s Executive Award of Excellence


DILLSBURG, Pa. (June 3, 2008) – L. Richard Eichelberger Jr., president of general contractor Lobar Inc., has been honored by the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Pennsylvania.

Eichelberger accepted the President’s Executive Award of Excellence at the chamber’s 16th Annual Awards Banquet, which was held May 15 at the Hollywood Casino in Grantville.

Eichelberger is a long-time member and supporter of the chamber of commerce. He is the oldest of company founders Lloyd and Barbara Eichelberger’s five children.

Under the younger Eichelberger, Lobar Inc. has expanded from its central Pennsylvania base into the state’s Northern Tier and the Lehigh Valley with offices in Williamsport and Allentown, respectively. In 2003, he received the Central/Eastern Pennsylvania Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award.
